Kirsters Baish| A private audio recording in which President Donald Trump was speaking with his personal attorney, Michael Cohen, was aired on CNN this week. The two men can be heard discussing how to purchase the rights to Karen McDougal’s story about her 2006 affair with Trump. McDougal is a well-known Playboy model.
The conversation was recorded back in September of 2016. The recording was handed over to CNN by Lanny Davis, Michael Cohen’s lawyer.
The National Inquirer purchased the story from the Playboy model for $150,000. The best part of the whole thing? The Inquirer is a tabloid that is generally supportive of Trump, so they opted not to run the affair story, which is known as a “catch-and-kill.”
Cohen told Trump about his plans to set up a company and finance the purchase of the rights from American Media, which publishes the National Enquirer.
“I need to open up a company for the transfer of all of that info regarding our friend David,” Cohen said in the recording, likely a reference to American Media head David Pecker.
Trump interrupts Cohen asking, “What financing?” according to the recording. When Cohen tells Trump, “We’ll have to pay.” Trump is heard saying “pay with cash” but the audio is muddled and it’s unclear whether he suggests paying with cash or not paying. Cohen says, “no, no” but it is not clear what is said next.
President Trump’s attorney and former New York Mayor, Rudy Giuliani, stated in the past that his client did not know that he was being recorded at the time. He also claimed that Trump had not made a payment, thus he had done nothing wrong.
CNNs’ Chris Cuomo’s show, “Cuomo Prime Time,” aired an episode on Tuesday on which the private audio recording was revealed.
The clip is extremely short and barely comprehendible. Take a listen below:

President Donald Trump had a few words for Michael Cohen on Saturday for taping the private conversation. He also claimed that it was most likely an illegal move. The recording was seized by the FBI during the infamous early morning raid of both Cohen’s office and home earlier in the year.
Inconceivable that the government would break into a lawyer’s office (early in the morning) – almost unheard of. Even more inconceivable that a lawyer would tape a client – totally unheard of & perhaps illegal. The good news is that your favorite President did nothing wrong!

Trump wrote in a tweet, “Inconceivable that the government would break into a lawyer’s office (early in the morning) – almost unheard of. Even more inconceivable that a lawyer would tape a client – totally unheard of & perhaps illegal. The good news is that your favorite President did nothing wrong!”
The Democrats and the Deep State operatives are working around the clock in order to sink the Trump administration. They want so desperately to be able to claim that Trump paid off women through substantial amounts of hush money during the 2016 presidential election so that they can call it a campaign finance violation.
A $130,000 payment was made to porn star and Trump accuser Stormy Daniels by her lawyer, Michael Cohen, just a few weeks before the 2016 election. The FBI is currently investigating this payment.
In the meantime, there are upwards of 40 state Democrat Parties that have been thought to be a part of a big scam, which was put into place in order to go around campaign finance laws. This way, they could move $84 million to Hillary Rodham Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign. The FBI did not investigate the DNC.
